Jon was a co-founder of Excelerate Energy in 2003 and served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. Jon managed the development of Excelerate's portfolio of floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) projects, expanding the company’s fleet to nine FSRUs and growing EBITDA to $300 million. Jon was subsequently CEO of FLEX LNG Ltd where he brought the company into operation with six LNG carriers and was responsible for raising over $500 million in capital for the acquisition of four newbuild LNG carriers. He also served as the Chief Marketing Officer of TMS Cardiff Gas where he was responsible for the marketing of five LNG carriers.
Shaun has a proven track record originating successful LNG projects across the value chain, including several FSRU projects while at Excelerate Energy and NextDecade. Those FSRU projects include: Israel, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. His LNG project development experience also includes: Cove Point, Rio Grande LNG & Rio Bravo pipeline in Brownsville, and small scale LNG development in Texas City. Shaun has over 30 years experience in the energy industry focusing on pipelines, underground storage, LNG terminals and LNG shipping. He also has proven abilities in strategic planning, regulatory & permitting, project management and business development.
Cheyne has over a decade of experience in the energy and infrastructure industries. As Navergy's lead finance professional, Cheyne is responsible for all finance and accounting functions. Prior to joining Navergy, Cheyne served in various management positions with BP, NextDecade Corp, Sanchez Energy and Mesquite Energy. He has also held investment banking and special situation roles with Houlihan Lokey and M-III Partners. Cheyne completed a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University.
Bob has more than 25 continuous years of successful hands-on problem solving and decision making experience in challenging, dynamic and multifaceted marine work environments at sea and ashore, in position of command responsibility or other crucial decision-making leadership capacity. He has direct operational experience with LNG import Floating Storage and Regas Unit (FSRU) project development, commissioning and start-up as commissioning team member, owner's representative / PIC on 6 projects worldwide since 2006. Bob spent 15 years as a senior officer aboard deep-draft LNG vessels with an unblemished safety record and outstanding personnel evaluations.
Dana is a degreed chemical engineer with extensive experience working on a variety of energy projects providing environmental planning, permitting, regulatory analysis and regulatory compliance services from pre-FEED to commissioning. Her project experience consists of upstream/midstream capital projects, both domestic and international, onshore and offshore projects, liquefied natural gas (LNG), pipeline, gas-to-liquid fuels (GTL), gas power plant and various hazardous waste projects.
